Cinemalua takes “Verdes Anos”, “Taxi de Jack” and much more to São Brás de Alportel

Sessions always start at 19:15

“The Green Years”, “In Jack's Taxi”, “A Yak in the Classroom” and “Honeyland – the Land of Honey”. These are the four films that the Cinemalua association will show, in November, at the Cineteatro de São Brás de Alportel.

Sessions always start at 19:15 pm.

The first film, on November 7, to be shown will be “A Yak in the Classroom”, by Pawo Choyning Dorji. This is a film «shot at the most remote school in the world, in a glacial village along the Himalayas, on the border between Bhutan and Tibet».

Next up is “Os Verdes Anos”, on the 14th, a Portuguese film directed by Paulo Rocha.

The third film to be shown will be “Honeyland – a Terra do Mel”, on 21 November. The film is "an epic and visually stunning portrait of the delicate balance between nature and humanity".

Finally, November will end with the screening of “No Táxi de Jack”, a film by Susana Nobre.

Tickets for each session cost 5 euros, a value that drops to 3 euros, with a monthly subscription, or to 2,5 euros for those with a Municipal Youth Card.

Whoever has a Senior Municipal Card pays 3,75 euros.
