The GNR detained 58 people in the district of Faro between the 3rd and 9th of October, within the scope of the set of operations aimed at preventing and combating violent crime, road inspection, among others.
Of the arrests, 13 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, 15 for driving without a legal license and six for drug trafficking.
In addition, there was apprehension of 2522 doses of hashish, 1594 doses of liamba eshere are cannabis plants.
In transit, the inspection gave rise to 433 infractions detected: 233 for speeding, 35 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 23 related to anomalies in lighting and signaling systems, 17 for improper use of the cell phone while driving, 10 for lack or incorrect use of the seat belt and/or system child restraint, 10 related to tire anomalies and nine due to lack of civil liability insurance.
Between 3 and 9 October there were also 156 accidents, which causedtwo dead, six seriously injured and 37 minor injuries.
In addition, the GNR carried out 46 actions that sensitized 353 people within the scope of the Safe School and 308 elderly people within the scope of the Seniors in Safety program.
