VAMUS reinforces public transport between Olhão and the University of Algarve

VAMUS Algarve announced today the reinforcement of its public transport offer between Olhão and the University, starting next Monday, September 19th, the day of the beginning of classes.

The new line 69 Olhão-Universidade do Algarve will make life easier for university students living in Olhão, ensuring direct transport between these cities, the Penha Campus and the Gambelas Campus with 11 daily circulations.

This service also serves the Hospital de Faro, Fórum Algarve and Hospital de Gambelas, «which could therefore also be an interesting option for the rest of the public».

In addition to the ease, comfort and speed, savings will be an incentive to use this new public transport line: the SUB_23 monthly pass will cost 24,50 euros for all students and 13,05 euros for those who benefit from direct social action ( student scholarship), for unlimited travel.

Line 56 Aerobus will also maintain its service to the University (Campus de Gambelas) from Lagos, Portimão, Lagoa and Albufeira.

To reinforce this commitment, VAMUS Algarve is also studying the possibility of creating a direct route between Vilamoura, Quarteira, Almancil and the University and the Airport.
