The SYRO concert, on the 24th at 22:30 pm, will be the highlight of the Youth Week in Tavira, which starts today and runs until Sunday, September 25th.
During this week, actions aimed at the school community are scheduled, namely, information sessions promoted by APAV – Portuguese Association for Victim Support, initiatives promoted by the local associative movement, as well as open hip hop classes and educational workshops.
The program also includes the Youth, Qualification and Inclusion Fair, which takes place between the 23rd and the 25th of September, in downtown, with official opening on the 23rd at 18:00.
This is an exhibition of projects developed by various entities working in the area of youth, training/qualification, social inclusion and intergenerationality.
The event includes an area dedicated to children's entertainment with an inflatable, air bungee and various activities aimed at children and young people. The Fair also has awareness sessions, workshops, showcookings and other food education activities, ecological games, demonstrations of basic life support, gaming project, youtubers and tiktokers, concerts by local bands and dj's.
The Ribeira Market has an area dedicated to Gaming and technologies, with the project game day with emphasis on Saturday, between 16:00 and 18:00, with the presence of y e tiktokers: Daizer, PedroTim 23, Mr. Remedy, Salvador Galeão, Francisco Trezentos and Maria Flor.
During the Fair, it is also possible to watch a canine demonstration by the PSP UEP/GOC, in Jardim das Palmeiras. Various sports, karate, handball and basketball demonstrations are also planned.
On the 23rd, from 18:00, the stage of Jardim do Coreto, hosts the musical entertainment by DJ Di Ângelo, followed, at 19:45, by the performance of Real Tuna Infantina from the University of Algarve and, at 23:45, the DJ Guillermo.
On the 24th, at 18:00 pm, the group Milleflows performs, followed, at 19:15 pm, by D'string and, at 21:45 pm, by GIGGY. Closing the night, at 23:45 pm, the performance of DJ Karussa and the artist Possessive. The image projection, on stage, will be the responsibility of VJ The Eye.
On the 25th, at 16 pm, the Rancho Folclórico de Tavira performs in Jardim do Coreto. At 00:17 pm, it is possible to participate in a zumba class at Espaço d'Elite, followed by hip hop by the Algarve Dance Academy (30:18 pm) and Splash Dance Company (30:20 pm).
Praça da República is another of the stages this week, with the performance of The Elephant Woman (23:21), Fuza Flowz (00:22) and Rita Fox Band (00:23) on the 00rd.
On the 24th, the concert by Katalina (21:00 pm) and SYRO (at 22:30 pm) will take place.
The fashion show “Moda Tavira 25” will take place on the 21th, at 30 pm, with a presentation by Pedro Reis. Young people between the ages of 2022 and 15 will have the opportunity to parade alongside mannequins such as Joana Alvarenga and Valter Carvalho.
