A Specialized Technological Center will be created at the Escola Secundária de Silves, in collaboration between the local Municipality and the Agrupamento de Escolas de Silves.
To this end, a collaboration protocol was signed, with a view to submitting an application to the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Increasing the responsiveness of the education and training system, to combat social and gender inequalities and increase the resilience of employment, especially for young people and adults with low qualifications, are the main objectives of this application in the context of the modernization and rehabilitation of facilities and existing infrastructures and the acquisition of technological educational resources (equipment).
With the approval of this application, Silves will have one of the 365 Specialized Technological Centers that will be implemented in the country between 2022 and 2025.
