This Saturday, September 3, Casa do Povo de Messines was distinguished with the Collectivity Merit Award within the scope of the commemorations of the Day of the Municipality of Silves.
Among other awards to recognize personalities and institutions, the municipality also distinguished several athletes from the Casa do Povo de Messines, such as the gymnast Francisco Labiza and the wheelchair handball athlete, Tiago Cantigas. Both won the distinction of International Sporting Merit.
