The cycle of “Concertos ao Entardecer”, organized by ArQuente, returns this weekend, from the 9th to the 11th of September, and, during the month of September, there is much to see and hear.
The concerts take place on Fridays, at 18:30, at Largo da Igreja, on Ilha da Culatra, on Saturdays, at 19:00, at Galeria Arco, in Faro, and on Sundays, at 18:00, in the Fortaleza de Sagres, the latter through the support of the DiVaM program, of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.
The first guest of the 2022 edition is Bia Maria, who will perform on the 9th, 10th and 11th of September.
The following weekend (September 16, 17 and 18) belongs to Bandua, a collaborative project between Tempura the Purple Boy and Edgar Valente. Bandua takes the popular songbook of the Beira Baixa region and faces it with an electronic folk reinterpretation.
The closing of this year's concert cycle is in charge of the Algarve singer-songwriter Mateus Verde, who has concerts at dusk on the 23rd, 24th and 25th.
Concerts at Sunset have the support of the Municipality of Faro, of the Parish Union of Faro and the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, through the DiVaM – Dissemination and Valorization of Monuments program.
It also has a partnership with the Culatra Island Residents Association and the support of the Tertúlia Algarvia restaurant and the insurance company João Marques Seguros.
