The 2nd phase of the renovation work on the Vilarinhos water supply network, in São Brás de Alportel, was awarded today, 14 September, and should begin at the end of October.
The work was awarded to the company Hidralgar – Equipamentos Electromecânicos, SA for around 117 thousand euros and should be completed by the end of February 2023.
The intervention will «allow the replacement of the entire conduit between the Soalheira and En270 intersection and the Variante Sul roundabout in Vilarinhos and includes trench work, placement of pipes, valves and accessories and pavement replacement», according to the Chamber of São Brás de Alportel.
The works «will allow for a more efficient management of the distribution network, the reduction of water losses and better quality in the distribution of water for all».
