The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel is installing new electrical infrastructures and placing lamps with LED technology luminaires on Rua Professor Jorge Gouveia.
These facilities are the result of an existing collaboration protocol between the City Council and EDP – E-Redes.
According to the municipality, these works are «determinants in improving safety and light in an area that houses a set of educational establishments and family support equipment».
The works awarded to E-Redes will soon continue, with the execution of two more investments, namely in Rua 1º de Maio – next to the Museu do Traje-, as well as in Rua Nova da Esperança, which connects Rua Colégio de São Brás and Avenida São Brás.
For the City Council, «in the current context of the energy crisis that is plaguing Europe», this investment becomes even more important.
