Quinta do Bill gives free concert at the Never Ending Summer Festival in Albufeira

Never Ending Summer 2022 is the last major summer festival in the Algarve and runs from 16 to 18 September

The Quinta do Bill group performs on the 16th of September, Friday, at the Albufeira Marina. The concert, with free admission, is part of the second edition of the Never Ending Summer festival, which is returning to that Algarve city, after a two-year break, because of the pandemic.

In full celebration of 35 years of career, the biggest Portuguese folk-rock band performs at 22:00 and carries mythical themes such as “Voa”, “Senhora Maria do Olival”, “Se Te Amo”, “A Única das Amantes” in their luggage. , “Menino”, “No Trilho do Sol” and “Os Filhos da Nação”.

“It is always a great pleasure for Quinta do Bill to return to the south and to Albufeira! We promise to have the party on the opening day of Never Ending Summer, with all the people from Portugal and many other countries who will be attending the concert and celebrating with us the culture and gastronomy of the Algarve”, confessed Moisés, the vocalist of the group. .

Never Ending Summer 2022 is the last major summer festival in the Algarve and takes place from the 16th to the 18th of September. In addition to Quinta do Bill, the musical program includes David Carreira, who performs on September 17, the same day that Átoa take the stage. On the last day, A Kind of Queen and Quem é o Bob?, tribute bands to Queen and Bob Marley, respectively, perform.

This year the organization expects the festival to attract more than 40 visitors. According to the administration of the Marina de Albufeira, the entity that promotes the Never Ending Summer, “the objective of the event is to show the resident population and the tourists who visit us that the summer at the Albufeira Marina is far from over”.

The multifaceted event aims to reveal the best of the Algarve and, in addition to concerts, includes gastronomy, sports, handicrafts, exhibitions, conferences, sailing regattas and classic car parades.
