Portimonense was beaten 4-0 by Sporting, in the trip they made this Saturday to Estádio de Alvalade, in a game counting for the I Liga championship.
Sporting came on strong and quickly got the goal, against a Portimonense who came in, clearly, with the idea of playing in defense.
At 7 minutes, Francisco Trincao, after a series of rebounds inside the area, shot hard. The ball still deflected on Pedrão and betrayed the Algarve keeper Nakamura.
Portimonense could not react to the disadvantage and it was the Lisbon team that continued to control the situation.

The result ended up being extended to 4-0 just four minutes later, in the 76th minute, with Nuno Santos scoring after an assist from Pedro Gonçalves.
Until the end, the score did not change and it was 4-0 when the final whistle blew.
This was Portimonense's second defeat in the current edition of the I Liga. The loss of three points does not prevent the Algarve team from staying in a comfortable place in the league table, on the 6th round, thanks to the four victories that it has also secured this season, which put it in 4th position, in condition, with 12 points.
