The Autonomous Section of Portimão of the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) will organize a solidarity praxis, cleaning Praia do Alemão, this Monday, September 26, between 14:00 and 18:00.
The initiative will begin at 14:00 pm, with a presentation on the location, pretext for the action and precautions to be taken. This part will take place in the auditorium of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the Campus of Portimão.
Two lectures will follow by the Environment Department of the Portimão City Council (presentation of the area, places of interest and dangers, division of teams) and by the “Arocha” association (environmental education, defense of fauna, flora and oceans).
At 15:10 pm, departure to Alemão beach, with transport provided by the municipality. Cleaning itself takes place from 15:30 to 18:00.
