The Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve is back in Lagoa and the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, on October 8, at 19:00 pm, with the concert “Algarve All Jazz”, accompanied by saxophonist Rick Margitza and singer Vânia Fernandes.
“Algarve All Jazz” is the premium project that the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve presented to the Municipalities of Loulé, Lagoa and Lagos, and which includes three concerts in the three municipalities.
In this first edition the guests are Rick Margitza, who brings a series of original themes, with orchestrations for Orquestra de Jazz, and Vânia Fernandes, voice of other themes, selected from the jazz songbook, such as Naima or XXX.
According to the municipality, all these themes were orchestrated in order to make a common sense, whether on stage or on record.
«From outside there will still not be a training action Sound Capsule, which will allow the direct contact of these two guests with the public and music professionals, in an Algarve All Jazz that wants to be included in an entire experience, and that, once again, leaves a legacy in the Region, when it ends», he says.
Tickets for this show cost 10 euros and are already on sale. here and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S. José Cultural Center and the Lagoa City Council Single Desk. Anyone with a cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the ticket offices in the Municipality of Lagoa, is entitled to a 20% discount.
