The new line 55 that will connect Vilamoura, Quarteira, Almancil to Faro, passing through the Gambelas Campus of the University of Algarve, will start operating next Monday, September 3, announced VAMUS.
This line comes «to respond to the many passengers residing in Vilamoura, Quarteira and Almancil who are looking for a direct line to the Airport and the University», says VAMUS.
The sub-23 monthly pass for students from Vilamoura and Quarteira costs 19,50 euros and from Almancil 13,05 euros. For students without a scholarship, it costs 36,55 euros and 24,50 euros, respectively.
This new line complements the offer of lines 69 Olhão – UAlg Gambelas, 118 Loulé – Aeroporto (via UAlg) and 56 Aerobus Lagos – Aeroporto (passing through Portimão, Lagoa and Albufeira) which already serve the University of Algarve.
