Mário Laginha and Pedro Burmester with the Orquestra Sinfónica do Algarve in Loulé and Portimão

Maestro Armando Mota composed the main piece and directs the orchestra

Pianists Mário Laginha & Pedro Burmester will perform with the Orquestra Sinfónica do Algarve, in concerts in Loulé and Portimão, scheduled for 1 and 2 October.

As part of the Algarve International Piano Festival, on the 1st of October, at 21 pm, the duo of pianists takes the stage at Cine-Teatro Louletano, in Loulé. The next day, at 00:19 pm, it will be the turn of TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão.

The Orchestra will be conducted by conductor Armando Mota, who is also the author of the main piece of this concert: the “Concerto for Piano a 4 Hands”.

The concert is dedicated to Bernardo Sassetti and will be performed by three renowned names and friends of Sassetti: the two pianists and the conductor of the Orchestra.

The 7th Algarve International Piano Festival is promoted by the cultural association ArtedoSul.

These concerts have the support of the Municipalities of Loulé and Portimão, the Algarve Tourism Region and Antena 2.
