Lagos: Dona Ana beach prohibited for bathing

Announced the National Maritime Authority today

The beach of Dona Ana, in Lagos, was this Friday, 16th of September, closed to bathing after the analyzes of the water quality revealed microbiological values ​​above the reference parameters, finding the water unsuitable for bathing. 

The announcement was made today by the National Maritime Authority, which stresses in a note that, after receiving information from the Portuguese Environment Agency to advise against going to the baths, "instructions were given for the red flag to be hoisted and the warnings placed in the accesses to the beach, by the Municipality of Lagos».

The ban will remain in place until the results of new water quality analyzes indicate that the microbiological values ​​are within the reference parameters.
