Hans Neuner, Head Austrian with two Michelin stars, responsible for the Ocean restaurant at Vila Vita Parc, was in the 62nd position of the list of the best chefs in the world, released this week at the gala of The Best Chef Awards, which took place in Madrid.
The World Top 100 has two chefs Portuguese, Henrique Sá Pessoa (70th position) and José Avillez (80th position).
These awards, which had their 2022th edition in 5, «celebrate the many talented chefs who create the best gastronomic experiences around the world».

Living in the Algarve for over twelve years, the Austrian chef «gives wings to his passion for Portuguese cuisine» at the Ocean restaurant.
This year, the proposal is the menu “On the Discoveries Route”, which continues an idea he had in 2020, after a trip from North to South of the country, which led him to work on «the gastronomic wealth of various regions of the country. and its ingredients in “Discovering Portugal”».
This was followed, in 2021, by “On the route of the Islands”, where he explored the gastronomy of the Portuguese islands, where he realized the strong influence that still exists in Portuguese gastronomy, brought by the Caravelas.
