The group Ao Luar Teatro takes on September 24, at 15:30 pm, to Fonte Pequena, in Alte, “Sonetos from a village, songs and tales from here!”, a poetic presentation about the life and work of the Altean poet Francisco Xavier Candido Guerreiro.
The theme for this work was provided to the Sarnadas theater company by the poet José Carlos Ary dos Santos, with the poem “A Viagem”, written on the occasion of the death of the Altense poet Cândido Guerreiro, in 1953.
The company Ao Luar Teatro now follows the journey of Cândido Guerreiro, from 1871 to 1953, walking along the paths of poetry and life of the poet from Altego, with stories, poems, music and songs with Pedro Branco and Vasco Ramalho, actors Rui Penas and Daniel Romeiro, and the rapper João Baião.
This initiative is free to enter and is part of the project “Municipal Library adopts the Cândido Guerreiro Professional School”, which has the support of the Alte Parish Council.
