The beach of Odeceixe will once again host the “Festa da Praia da Maravilha”, on the 16th and 17th of September, organized by the Parish of Odeceixe and the Municipality of Aljezur.
The party celebrates the 10th anniversary of its classification as one of the 7 Wonders – Beaches of Portugal (in the category of cliff beaches).
This election, held in 2012, promoted the national beaches, in order to preserve their beauty and uniqueness, intrinsic attributes of this natural treasure to which the Portuguese people could not remain indifferent.
The first day of the party will start at 18:00, with the performance of Bruno Sax, saxophonist with more than 30 years of career. The beginning of the night will be started by Bruno Amendoeira, a musician from Aljezur, and will continue with the performance of 5EX BAND (at 22:00 pm), a cover band, whose repertoire ranges from songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s, to contemporary hits.
The closing of this first day will be in charge of DJ GB, from 24:00.
The second and last day of the “Praia da Maravilha Festival” will feature, at 08:00 am, the III Stage of the Bodyboard Circuit 2022.
The party will continue at 16:00 pm, with a musical performance by Bruno Neves, a local artist, which will be followed, at 17:30 pm, by a moment of entertainment promoted by Grupo Entrelaçar de Odeceixe.
The late afternoon will begin at 18:00 pm with DJ Cadu, who will open the doors to Banda Pouca Terra, a group from Aljezur that proposes a show of world music, through a joyful and simple sound journey.
At 22 pm, the stage will be played by IRIS, an Algarve rock band, created in 00, which is already a milestone in the history of Portuguese music.
The night will end with DJ Zanova, one of the most renowned and well-known DJs/producers.
