The 12th edition of Farcume – International Short Film Festival of Faro starts this Friday, September 23, in the auditorium of the Hotel 3HB, in Baixa de Faro.
The challenge launched by the association Faro 1540, which organizes Farcume, the 3HB Hotels & Resorts Group aims to «revive the memory of the place previously occupied by the Cine-Teatro de Santo António».
This challenge «was promptly accepted» by those responsible for 3HB, «united by the values of preserving the memory and culture of the city of Faro and of the Farenses».
This edition will feature around 32 short films from four countries, corresponding to three categories: fiction, documentary and animation.
The organization has the support of the City Council of Faro, Parish Union of Faro and 3HB Hotels & Resorts Group.
