The designFAO international conference will bring to Hotel EVA Senses, in Faro, experts from different countries, on the 7th of October, a Friday.
This is an initiative that has been “worked on since 2019” and that was scheduled for October 23, 2020, but was eventually canceled due to the pandemic, according to the organization.
«designFAO is currently the only international design conference in Portugal. And we are working to make it a reference event in Southern Europe», they add.
With this event, it is intended to "put Faro on the map of design conferences around the world and, above all, to captivate and retain creatives spread across Europe with whom we are connected through more than 40 airports».
The event will feature eight speakers, six of which are international (Canada, Australia, England) and the other two national.
Topics such as brand strategy, Blockchain, Coaching, Leadership, Product Design, Prototyping, Remote Work e Typography.
Matt Davies (The power of archetypes), Benny Zuffolini (Neurodiversity in the workplace), Bruno Figueiredo (Dealing with design in a post-democratization era), Brittni Bowering (Run workshops that get you noticed), Penny Blackmore (Sell Design, not your soul), Simon Lucas (The importance of Prototyping), Kate Pincott (Trading Physical Assets On The Blockchain) and João Miranda (Tudotype. Where type comes first) are the guest speakers.
