Covid-19: End of District Emergency Plan ends weekly newsletters

This deactivation comes after the Government's decision not to extend the alert situation

The District Civil Protection Emergency Plan, which was in effect due to Covid-19, has been deactivated, announced this Friday, September 30, the District Civil Protection Commission. The weekly information notes are therefore suspended.

This deactivation comes after the Government's decision not to extend the alert situation and to cease the "validity of various laws, decree-laws and resolutions approved within the scope of the pandemic" and also after a situation report, made yesterday, the 29th, by the Regional Health Authority, which reports on the «stabilization of the epidemiological situation».

With the deactivation of the District Civil Protection Emergency Plan, the weekly informative notes, which were always sent on Fridays, are suspended.

Even so, until March 31, 2023, the Civil Protection Subcommittee – COVID-19, constituted on March 14, 2020, will continue to operate to prepare the Covid-19 Disease Assessment Report in the region.
