The Vila Real de Santo António City Council announced today that it has just awarded the construction of 45 tombs to “suppress the immediate needs of the Cacela Velha cemetery, which is completely exhausted”.
After the award is signed, the contract with the contractor must be consigned next Monday, September 5th. The work has an execution period of two months.
On the other hand, in the medium term, within the scope of the revision of the Municipal Master Plan (PDM) of VRSA, «the transfer of land for the construction of a new cemetery in Vila Nova de Cacela, which will include a chapel and a crematory oven", adds the municipality.
