Algarve Bike Challenge makes the last spots available

First 800 spots sold out «in a few minutes»

The last 400 spots available for those who want to participate in the 10th Edition of the Algarve Bike Challenge, which will take place between the 10th and 12th of March, in Tavira, will be made available on Tuesday, September 20th, at 14:00.

These are the last places out of a total of 1200. The organizers of the event made them available in three phases and the first 800 sold out «in a few minutes».

Therefore, interested parties should be aware to the test site, where inscriptions can be made.

As in previous editions, the organization offers two types of subscription, the premium subscription that includes, among others, accommodation in 4-star hotels and the light package for those who do not have this need or want to organize all the logistics directly.

The Algarve Bike Challenge, organized by the Associação Clube BTT da Conceição de Faro, «is one of the biggest stage MTB events in the Iberian Peninsula» and will maintain, in 2023, the three stage format, starting with a night prologue, followed by two marathon stages, «all of them with the city of Tavira as neuralgic point”.

The organization anticipates the presence of «600 pairs of cyclists, ie 1200 athletes. As of today, 18 nationalities from four continents will be represented in this edition, with Spain standing out with more than 60% of those registered».

As part of the celebration of the 10th edition, the organization promises “several surprises and lots of entertainment, in addition to the already traditional route of enormous beauty and sporting interest in an idyllic setting”.
