Águas do Algarve launches game “How much do you save?” to celebrate Water Monitoring Day

As part of the “Water Challenge – Savings Without Borders” project, the game can be downloaded from the project website

The company Águas do Algarve launched another game this week, this time to promote water saving, entitled “Quanto Poupas”. The launch was intended to mark the Water Monitoring Day, celebrated on 18 September.

«In a year especially marked by the drought that devastates the Algarve region, the issues associated with environmental education, supported by gestures of preservation and conscious use of water resources is a certainty that assists us all and motivates for the necessary continuity of educating the consumer to prevent inappropriate behavior and encourage the development of an ecological awareness that respects natural values, where water resources are inserted», highlights the AdA in a press release.

As part of the “Water Challenge – Savings Without Borders” project, the game has «child and youth characteristics» and is «inspired by the classic Jogo da Glória».

It aims to make children aware of their water consumption in small everyday attitudes. Players will be able to spend 0,30 liters brushing their teeth with a glass or spend 60 liters if they leave the tap running, among several other possibilities.

The social and environmental responsibility project of the Algarve company “Desafio da Água – Poupança Sem Fronteiras”, which began this year, aims to alert the community and, above all, young people from the 1st to the 3rd cycle of schooling on the importance of saving money. water, an increasingly scarce resource.
