Águas do Algarve will be open for two days

The 3rd and 4th of October

Águas do Algarve reopens the doors of infrastructure that are part of the multi-municipal water supply system, on the 3rd and 4th of October, as a way of celebrating National Water Day.

The Water Treatment Plants (ETA) in Alcantarilha and Tavira, as well as the Odelouca Dam, will open the doors «to all those who want to know this world and that is found either behind “every faucet, or after every water discharges”.

«Our employees will guide our visitors, showing the journey of water, a precious resource for all of us», according to Águas do Algarve.

On the 3th, the Alcantarilha WTP and Odelouca Dam can be visited from 10:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 16:00.

On the 4th of October, the Tavira Water Treatment Plant It will be open from 14:30 pm to 16:00 pm.

Registration is mandatory and must be done via email [email protected], in the case of WTPs, and [email protected], for those who want to visit the Odelouca Dam.
