The Academia de Música de Portimão will celebrate World Music Day this Saturday, October 1st, with a program of concerts with free admission.
On this day, two Baroque composers will be celebrated, Purcell and Bach, the Old Bach, through the work performed by guest artists and by artists from the Portimonense community: professors from the academy, residents and artists who come from Germany and Porto.
The concert features the participation of the Adágio Coral Group and the Portimão Academy of Music String Orchestra, conducted by maestro António Alves.
Also the Consort of Flutes of the Academia de Música de Portimão will provide a musical moment with works from the Baroque period.
The event takes place at Igreja do Colégio and starts at 21:00.
