Passenger shelters in the municipality of Lagos are being renovated

JCDecaux Portugal company won a concession for the installation of urban furniture and its advertising exploitation

Since the 6th of September, the Municipality of Lagos is renovating all the passenger shelters in the municipality that support the A ONDA urban transport network.

In total, 90 units will be replaced, with the aim of guaranteeing better conditions for users, but also standardizing all urban furniture in the municipality of Lagos.

The intervention results from the concession of private use of the public domain in the municipality for the installation of urban furniture and its advertising exploitation, which fell to the company JCDecaux Portugal Lda. The maintenance and conservation of the new spaces is also the responsibility of the company.

The process of replacing the shelters will take place over three months, making them more careful, safer and more appealing to all A ONDA users.
