“Tona da Água”: a play to alert children to the importance of saving

The initiative is part of the environmental education project of the company Águas do Algarve “Desafio da Água”

The play “À Tona da Água”, which aims to inspire children and unite them in saving and preserving water, opens next Monday, October 3, with a double session at the Castro Marim Municipal Library.

This piece will also pass, on the 18th, through the Municipal Library of Faro and, on the 26th, by Alcoutim.

The initiative is part of the environmental education project of the company Águas do Algarve “Desafio da Água”.

"After the success of the Tournament and the Day at Praia da Gaivota in Quarteira, we will continue to encourage children to have a collective mindset when it comes to the issue of water resources", says the company, in a statement.

In addition to Castro Marim, Faro and Alcoutim, the roadshow of activities and theatrics «will take place in all the municipalities of the Algarve».

The play will have an average duration of 45 minutes and will later be made available online for all who want to watch.
