Volta a Portugal: Aleksandr Grigorev (Tavira) remains in the top 10 overall

Délio Fernandez, from the same team, came in 6th place in the

Aleksandr Grigorev, from the Algarve team Atum-General/Tavira/AP Maria Nova Hotel, continues in 9th place in the individual general of the Volta a Portugal by bicycle, after the second stage played today. 

The 181,5 kilometer (km) route took place between Badajoz and Castelo Branco, with the Portuguese João Matias, from Tavfer-Mortágua, winning the stage by completing the run in 4h42m21s.

The Portuguese Rafael Reis, from Glassdrive, kept the yellow jersey, continuing to be the leader of the general classification (result of which Grigorev is 14 seconds away).

Returning to the Algarve teams, the athlete with the best classification in the stage was Délio Fernandez, from Atum-General/Tavira/AP Maria Nova Hotel, who came in 6th place.

From Aviludo – Louletano – Loulé Concelho the first athlete to arrive was Vicente de Mateos, in 23rd position.

Tomorrow, the third stage of the Tour will take place, between Sertã and Covilhã, over a distance of 158 km.
