Three “Algarvian” cyclists remain in the top 10 of the general classification of the Volta a Portugal

Alejandro Marque and Delio Fernandez, from Atum General/Tavira/AP Maria Nova Hotel, and Jesus Del Pino, from Aviludo-Louletano-Loulé Concelho, remain in the top 10 of the general classification of the 83rd Volta a Portugal.

After the 6th stage that took place today, August 11, between Águeda and Maia, Alejandro Marque remains in sixth place, Delio Fernandez, in seventh, and Jesus Del Pino, in eighth.

In this stage, the first rider to cross the finish line was Scott McGill (Wildlife Generatin), who repeated the victory he had already achieved in Elvas. Even so, Frederico Figueiredoda, Glassdrive-Q8, continues to be the yellow jersey.

Returning to the Algarve teams, the first cyclist to arrive at the stage was Vicente de Mateos, from Aviludo-Louletano-Loulé Concelho, in 13th position. In 17th comes Alexandr Grigoryev, from Atum General/Tavira/AP Maria Nova Hotel.

This Friday the route is made between Santo Tirso and Braga and will have a distance of 150,1 kilometers.
