SEDES debates “The Future of the Railroad” in Praia da Rocha

Cristina Grilo, Paulo Neves and Álvaro Beleza will be the speakers

“The Future of the Railroad” will be debated this Wednesday, August 3, from 19:30 pm, at Hotel da Rocha, in a session promoted by SEDES – Association for Economic and Social Development.

What mobility is intended for the Algarve? Could the Algarve line be the backbone of the entire public transport system from Barlavento to Sotavento? How important could the inclusion of the airport in Faro in the Railway System? What framework should one aim for in the Iberian context? Is the Algarve Line the natural extension of the Mediterranean Corridor?

These will be some of the issues under consideration.

The “Future of the Railroad” will have as speakers, Cristina Grilo, coordinator of the Mais Ferrovia Movement and Paulo Neves, Secretary General of SEDES Algarve, and will be attended by Álvaro Beleza, president of SEDES.
