The Portimão Arena will once again host the International Masters Futsal this year, which in the fifth edition will feature Barça, Sporting CP, SL Benfica and Movistar Inter FS.
The futsal teams were presented at the event's Press Conference, which took place this Wednesday, August 3, at the Hotel Tivoli Marina Portimão.
«It is with renewed expectation that the Portimão City Council will once again host this competition, which has gained notoriety year after year», highlighted Álvaro Bila, vice-president of the Portimão City Council.
On the 27th and 28th of August, the winners of the four previous editions return to the Algarve. The 25th block in the Algarve also hosts the Cidade de Portimão Trophy, played between Portimonense SC and CRC Quinta dos Lombos, and the Algarve Supercup, between Louletano DC and Albufeira FC, is scheduled for the 27th.
The team presentation ceremony was attended by Álvaro Bila, vice-president of the Portimão Chamber, Reinaldo Teixeira, president of the Algarve Football Association (AFA), Bernardo Ribeiro, director of Jornal Record, Miguel Faro, team manager of the futsal team Sporting CP, and Gonçalo Alves, team manager of the futsal team of SL Benfica.
Tickets are now available and can be purchased at Portimão Arena, Teatro Municipal de Portimão, Museu de Portimão, FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT, Serveasy, Pousadas da Juventude, Agência ABEP – Lisbon and at the ticket office online.
