Cristina Clara was born in Minho and, for several years, divided her life between music and nursing. She made her singing debut in Lisbon, in 2008, at Café Luso in Bairro Alto and in the play “O Canto da Rosa” where she played the role of a young singer. In 2021, she released her first studio work “Lua Adversa”, an album made of stories turned into fados and chorinhos.

According to República 14, «her interest in creating bridges between different musical universes, reflects the desire to promote the sharing and integration of different realities and cultures and her debut album, with revisited themes and original compositions, reflects the singer's contemporary look at tradition».
