The Ponte dos Ladrões, at kilometer 83,850, and Ponte da Foupana, located at kilometer 94,127, both located on the EN122 and in the municipality of Alcoutim, will be the subject of works, so traffic will be conditioned at these two locations, informed Infraestruturas de Portugal.
«For the safety of road users and construction workers, it is necessary to remove a traffic lane from the passage through the infrastructures and their accesses, using alternate circulation, with at least one lane always available», clarifies the IP.
The start of conditioning is scheduled for the 8th of August and will last approximately six months.
IP asks for “a better understanding of the inconveniences and inconveniences that this situation may cause”, but guarantees that it is “contributing to the improvement of the security conditions of the infrastructure and fundamentally of its users”.
