The equestrian world once again occupies a prominent place in the program of FATACIL – Fair of Crafts, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry of Lagoa, which will take place from the 19th to the 28th of August, in the Municipal Fair and Exhibition Park of Lagoa.
The Spaniard Paco Martos, who is once again the headliner, “La Pattat Stunt Show” (Poland), who will participate in all the shows, as well as several national champions, an Olympic duo, a Spanish champion, are some of the names that appear from the program.
«After two years of interregnum, due to Covid-19, FATACIL is back, once again investing heavily in one of the fair's anchor sectors, the equestrian sector, with more and better shows, national and international. This is yet another reason to visit FATACIL 2022», according to Luís Encarnação, mayor of Lagoa.
FATACIL's equestrian program is, moreover, one of the features that distinguishes this fair from others, as Sul Informação noticed in this video report.
And this «strong bet» by the Municipality of Lagoa is valid for the next edition of FATACIL, but also for the future.
The municipality intends to improve the conditions of the fairgrounds to host equestrian events, «with the construction of a new riding arena, which will give the opportunity to bring more and better horses and riders from all over the world», according to the Chamber. .
«This project aims to extend the equestrian competitions, in the city of Lagoa, throughout the year, with three to four national and international competitions. At this moment, the municipality awaits the opinions of all the entities involved in order to proceed with the work”, revealed the municipality.
Tickets for FATACIL 2022 are now on sale. The daily ticket costs 4 euros, the family daily ticket costs 14 euros and the 10-day pass costs 25 euros. Children up to 12 years old (inclusive) do not pay entry, upon presentation of the Citizen Card.
