The Escola de Artes Mestre Fernando Rodrigues, in Lagoa, will promote a painting and drawing workshop dedicated to abstract impressionism, a training promoted by the plastic artist Ana Nobre that will be taught over three sessions and is scheduled to start in September.

According to the Câmara de Lagoa, the workshop on “Abstract Impressionism -Painting step by step” aims to “stimulate the artistic experience and practice of the Visual Arts”.
«In this tutored workshop, you can observe and follow the technical execution of an acrylic painting on canvas in three monthly sessions. Each session will be subject to a theme: still life, landscape and human figure. An introduction to painting and drawing techniques will be given: framing, volume and three-dimensionality», describes the municipality.
