A situation of threats between neighbors using a firearm, in Alcoutim, led the GNR to seize the weapon, as well as to identify its owner, a 60-year-old man.
According to the GNR, the suspect, "after an argument, wielded a long firearm and threatened the victim, another 64-year-old man."
When they arrived at the scene, the soldiers of the Guard of the Territorial Post of Castro Marim found the weapon «disguised in some bushes, in agricultural land, nearby».
When the weapon was seized, it was found that it was not “registered or manifested”.
The facts were sent to the Judicial Court of Vila Real de Santo António.
