The Regional and Conventual Sweets Fair is back at Jardim Manuel Bívar, in Faro, between the 24th and 28th of August.
The event organized by the Parish Union of Faro (Sé and São Pedro) will have its 34th edition and has some changes in terms of organization and number of pavilions for regional confectionery.
The objective passes, according to Bruno Lage, president of the União das Freguesias de Faro, «for promoting and disseminating traditional Portuguese sweets, enhancing conventual and palatial sweets as well as the knowledge and flavors characteristic of the different regions of Portugal, without forgetting the regional drinks and liqueurs».
The event will be open to the public from 18:00 to 24:00 and admission is free.
