Dino D'Santiago, creator, musician, composer, cartoonist and activist for the arts and cultures of the World, was born on December 13, 1982, in Quarteira, from a Cape Verdean family.

Currently, the artist works with the Cape Verdean tradition with the contemporary weight of global electronics, as evidenced by the anthem “Kriolu”, with the collaboration of Julinho KSD and production by Branko.

Dino has already stepped on stages such as Super Bock Super Rock (Sesimbra), NOS Primavera Sound (Porto), MED (Loulé), FMM (Sines), among many others.

In 2020, he released the album “Kriola”, considered one of the best works of that year by media such as Público, Time Out, Blitz or Correio da Manhã – a work also highly praised in American and Brazilian media, such as Rolling Stone, Complex and Folha de S. Paulo. He also received the Play Awards for Best Album, Best Male Artist and Critics Award.

At the end of 2021, he released his most recent album, “Badiu”, featuring artists such as Branko or Slow J. The new album, which includes “Lokura” and “Esquinas”, was also highlighted as one of the best albums of 2021 by various means.

In addition, the artist is one of the main faces of the cultural movement “Lisboa Criola” and one of the mentors of the sociocultural movement “Sou Quarteira”.
