Chefs Carlos Teixeira and João Viegas cook sustainable dinner at Vila Vita Parc

Dinner will be paired with Galician mixologist Javier Caballero.

Os chefs Carlos Teixeira, holder of a Michelin star, and João Viegas will get together at the Atlântico restaurant, at Vila Vita Parc, in Porches (Lagoa), to prepare the second Reach for the Stars Green Edition dinner, on September 12, from 18:30 pm.

The special guest of this initiative, Carlos Teixeira, from the Michelin-starred restaurant Herdade do Esporão, who, together with João Viegas, Head resident of the Atlântico restaurant, «will present a harmony of seasonal flavors, accompanied by the unexpected creations of cocktails by Javier Caballero, considered one of the most famous shakers today».

«Recognized in 2022, with a Michelin star and a Michelin Verde star, the work of chef Carlos Teixeira focuses on respect for ingredients, nature and zero waste, using products from an extensive vegetable garden and from his own production in his menus. animal. The Reach for the Stars Green Editions series, whose objective is to «value sustainable practices that are increasingly visible in gastronomy», has taken place at the Atlântico restaurant, where the Head João Viegas welcomes chefs «who share the same vision» and who privilege «the reduction of the restaurant's environmental footprint, the protagonism of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients while respecting the ecosystem of the region in which they are found».

The evening begins at the House Bar at 18:30 pm with cocktails by Galician Javier Caballero, followed by dinner at 19:30 pm at the Atlântico restaurant.
