Centro Qualifica de Lagoa has already certified the first 31 trainees

Center opened its doors in September 2021

The Centro Qualifica de Lagoa certified the first 31 trainees in a ceremony that took place on the 2nd of August, in the Cloisters of the Convento de S. José.

The diplomas were awarded to 14 trainees at the basic level and 17 trainees at the secondary level.

«It is with great satisfaction that we certify the first 31 trainees of the Centro Qualifica de Lagoa. I hope that this will be an incentive for more people from Lagoa to sign up and see their skills recognised», said Luís Encarnação, mayor of Lagoa.

The Qualifica Center of the Municipality of Lagoa opened its doors in September 2021 «with the aim of ensuring all adults and young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) a qualification opportunity based on the complementarity between Recognition, Validation and Certification of Competences (RVCC) and the possibility of attending certified training, depending on the profiles and individual needs of each one», according to the Chamber.

This center “receives adults interested in certifying their skills at the 4th, 6th, 9th and 12th grade levels and develops guidance and referral actions for candidates to offer education and vocational training according to the offer available in the region, or for basic and secondary school RVCC process».

Enrollments can be made in person, at the Escola de Trânsito do Municipality of Lagoa building, where the Qualifica Center is temporarily installed, in the two schools clusters in the county, namely the Rio Arade School Cluster (AERA) or the Agrupamento de Escolas Rio Arade. de Escolas Padre António Martins de Oliveira de Lagoa (ESPAMOL), or through the website of the Municipality.

Centro Qualifica de Lagoa is co-financed by the European Social Fund as part of the application to the Algarve Operational Program – CRESC Algarve2020.
