Cantaloupe Café welcomes João Espadinha next weekend

Guitarist will perform with Sara Badalo, Ricardo Marques and João Sousa

The Cantaloupe Café, at Mercados de Olhão, presents the show João Espadinha Quarteto next Sunday, August 21st, at 18:45 pm. 

The guitarist will be accompanied by Sara Badalo, on vocals, Ricardo Marques, on double bass, and João Sousa, on drums.

João Espadinha is a guitarist and author based in Lisbon. With an artistic career strongly linked to Jazz, he worked at the Hot Club de Portugal, Escola Superior de Música and Conservatorium van Amsterdam, having settled in the capital in 2016.

He edited his first work in 2017 – Kill the boy (Sintoma Records) and is now preparing for the release of his second album – “Em terra alheia sei onde fica”, edited with the support of the GDA Foundation, and for which he counts with the participation of a wide range of performers ranging from jazz to indie.
