The Municipality of Silves signed on Monday, the 8th, the contract to support urban rehabilitation in Algoz, a measure included in the Strategy for the Urban Rehabilitation Area of this parish.
The agreement was signed by Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves, and by Joana Coelho, the promoter of urban rehabilitation works.
This aid is part of the Support Program for the Improvement of Habitability Conditions (PAHAB), which «enables owners and tenants of urban buildings, with eminently residential use, to carry out building rehabilitation works», according to the Municipality of Silves. .
In this way, it is possible to «improve the urban fabric, through the rehabilitation of the heritage, and the socio-economic dynamics through the establishment of the population».
