Aljezur is getting ready to celebrate Nature Tourism in the Algarve, hosting the edition of the event “Algarve + Sustainable”, in October.
The junction of the Algarve Nature's Week event and the Nature Tourism Biennial will take place in Aljezur and aims to «not only train agents in the region but also reflect the future of the sector in this area and also be a showcase of the offer».
According to the Municipality of Aljezur, opportunities, constraints and weaknesses will be discussed here so that the tourist offer complements the rest of the region's offer.
«For Aljezur, this is an area of relevant importance for the local economy, defined by the way as a strategic vector for the tourism sector and a strong commitment on the part of the Municipality of Aljezur, which will support this initiative with logistics and financial support in the amount of 40 thousand euros. In October, Turismo Natureza do Algarve will be celebrating and reflecting on one of its most precious pearls, the Costa Vicentina», says the municipality in a statement.
The event stems from a partnership established between the Algarve Tourism Region, Vicentina (local development association) and the Municipality of Aljezur.
