The Desafios d'Escrita contest, promoted by the Câmara de Silves, which challenged participants to remember “The child I was” already has winners, announced the municipality this Friday, July 22nd.
The choice of writing on the theme “The child I was…” fell on the text by Goret Nunes, from the Lifelong Education Pole in Pêra. In second place was the text written by Custódia Rio, from the Education Pole of Silves, and the third place was attributed to Beatriz Sousa, from the Armação de Pêra Education Pole.
With this initiative, the Municipality of Silves emphasizes that it continues to «promote the taste for reading and writing».
