The Quinta Shopping mall, in Quinta do Lago, has just been evacuated due to the fire that is hitting this tourist resort.
The information was Sul Informação by a shopkeeper at Quinta Shopping.
For the rest, there have been evacuations of houses in the last few hours in Quinta do Lago.
The swimming pools of many of the mansions are being used for air resources to refuel.
At the moment, entries into Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are prohibited – even for residents.
This fire, which started in Gambelas (Faro) last night, but spread to Quinta do Lago (Loulé), mobilized 313 firefighters and 113 vehicles, supported by three air assets.
Reinforcements are already arriving from Baixo Alentejo, namely from the firefighters of Castro Verde, Odemira and Cuba.
