Portimão Wine Tasting, with wines from local producers, takes place from the 22nd to the 24th of July, in Fortaleza de Santa Catarina, with Praia da Rocha in the background.
«For three days, while music and dance parade on stage, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the excellence and refinement of wines produced in Portimão in a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere», says the Portimão Chamber.
Once again, Herdade dos Pimentéis, Quinta da Penina and Aveleda SA will do the honors of the house in an event full of animation, where "you can get to know, taste and purchase wines of recognized quality, as well as the producers and winemakers who dedicate work and give soul”.
As far as flavors are concerned, there will be oysters from the Ria de Alvor, skewered pork, cheeses and sausages.
ATP – Associação Turismo de Portimão is organizing this initiative for the seventh time, with the support of the Municipality of Portimão, APS – Administration of the Ports of Sines and Algarve and CVA – Algarve Wine Commission.
The event takes place between 20:00 and 00:00 and admission is free, with the tasting glass being purchased for 1,50 euro, while each tasting can vary between 2 euros (harvest wine) and 2,50 euros (reserve wine ).
