Foreign passengers confront SEF inspectors at the Faro

The clashes took place in the early hours of Thursday.

Three passengers were involved in confrontations with elements of the Aliens and Borders Service (SEF) and the PSP at the airport of Faro. The incident happened after she was refused entry into Portugal by a friend, with whom they were traveling, because she did not have a valid visa. One inspector was injured. None of the women were arrested.

The clashes took place in the early hours of Thursday, when the four passengers arrived in the Algarve on a flight from the United Kingdom.

Three of them had valid documentation and entered the country, the fourth was stopped for not having the necessary documentation.
