Serranos delicacies return to Cortelha

Entrance is free

Grain dinner, rooster stew with potatoes or corn porridge. Cortelha, a village in the interior of the municipality of Loulé, will once again receive, on the 6th and 7th of August, another edition of “Manjares Serranos” where you can find these and other delicacies. 

It is already a tradition at the beginning of August, the Polidesportivo da Cortelha to transform itself into an authentic tavern also with fresh cheese, black pork chorizo ​​and mountain filhós.

The event will also feature local handicrafts, from rosemary honey or Algarve basketwork.

Adding to all these delicacies will be musical entertainment.

 

 

On Saturday, at 18:00 pm, there will be traditional music with Luis Simenta's project “Canta Alentejo”, dance with Gonçalo Tardão and folklore with the Ethnographic Group of Serra do Caldeirão.

On Sunday, August 7th, it will be the turn of the Alentejo sounds to be brought to the stage with the Allcante group and the dance with Ruben Filipe.

Admission is free.

The event is organized by the Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha, with the support of the Municipality of Loulé and the Parish Council of Salir.
